- 6 apples, medium, sliced thin
- ⅓ cup oats, old fashioned or quick oat, uncooked
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup all-purpose flavor
- 6 tbsp butter, 3/4 of a stick, softened
- 2 tbsp sugar
- t tsp cinnamon, ground
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 salt, dash
Peel, core, and slice apples
Place apple slices in a greased 8x8 baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice
Preheat oven to 375°
In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, oats, and butter
Spread mixture evenly over apple slices
Bake for 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
