Main ingredients needed
To make Honey Old Bay™ Wings in an air fryer, you will need a pound or so of wings, a few tablespoons of honey, a couple of teaspoons of Old Bay seasoning and cornstarch, and butter. Simply toss the wings in a plastic bag containing cornstarch and Old Bay seasoning. This should go on very lightly for a thin coating. After they have been cooked, you will toss them with a wing a sauce made from butter, Old Bay, and honey.
Cornstarch vs Baking Powder – What to use for extra crispy chicken wings
Using baking powder and cornstarch will improve the crunch and texture of your chicken wings. But if crunchy, crispy wings are what you’re after, I recommend cornstarch. There is no difference in taste between the two, but cornstarch produces crispier results.
